“I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no ‘brief candle’ to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment; and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.”

    Spotlight: Autumn

    By Liss | October 9, 2008

All of these were taken in North Seattle, on a long, rambling walk with a bus ride in between. The full set can be found here.

Autumn is my favorite season and it’s somewhat rare for us to have a really dry time during it. Frequently, the leaves are rained and blown off the trees before they have a chance to turn much. The rains are supposed to return today, though.

    Enjoy!
